First day of camp
We gathered at 9:30 AM at the Hunting Lodge in Vareje. We officially started the camp at 10:00 AM with a speech by the society commander and raising of the flag. The following guests also joined the event:

- • Tomaž Muršek, poveljnik PGD Videm pri Ptuju
Guests gave us encouraging words, expressed support for the camp, and wished us many successful experiences.
Next came the thematic part, where we divided the children into two groups. Through interactive workshops and games, they learned about firefighting equipment, tools, and the basics of firefighting skills. Fun games additionally provided a relaxed atmosphere and encouraged competitive spirit among the teams.
In the afternoon, Aleš Šibila visited us and introduced the children to wilderness survival techniques. The youth enthusiastically participated in challenges where they had to light a fire with flint and hemp rope – this task was particularly popular.
The evening concluded with a campfire, roasting hot dogs on handmade wooden sticks, followed by entertainment with dancing and music. After an intensive day, we headed to rest around 11 PM, as another interesting day awaited us.
Second day of camp
Sunday morning began at 7 AM with a wake-up call to the sound of a fire siren and morning exercises. After a well-deserved breakfast, we set off on a hike to the Sedlak Beekeeping Farm, where we learned many interesting things about the life of bees and honey production. Children could taste different types of honey and satisfy their sweet tooth. After returning to camp, the final firefighting program followed, where children demonstrated their acquired knowledge. At 2:30 PM, with the lowering of the flag and an address by the leadership, we officially concluded the 1st Youth Fire Camp of PGD Videm pri Ptuju.

The camp was an excellent opportunity for connecting young people, acquiring new knowledge, and strengthening team spirit. Sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the successful organization of the event, especially parents, guests, and the leadership of the Videm Firefighting Association.
