PGD Videm pri Ptuju is equipped and trained for Category II.
PGD Videm pri Ptuju provides fire protection and other preventive tasks for protection against natural and other disasters in the Municipality of Videm in the areas of KS Videm pri Ptuju, KS Pobrežje, and KS Soviče-Dravci-Vareja.
Videm firefighters cover a very diverse and demanding terrain that includes dense settlements, large industrial facilities, and the hilly areas of Haloze. Depending on the situation, we are available to assist civil protection whenever help is needed in our area.
Contract for performing local firefighting public service
The society has a contract with the Municipality of Videm for performing local firefighting public service for the current year. This contract is also co-signed by GZ Videm and through it the signatories regulate the content, scope, and method of performing public firefighting service, the start of performing public firefighting service, organization and supervision of public firefighting service, and the means for performing it.
For this purpose, the society receives EUR 10,950.00. These funds are exclusively used for insuring real estate and movable property, personal insurance during interventions and other purposes for society members, vehicle registration and servicing, fuel, and essential maintenance of firefighting equipment and gear.
